CQ WPX Award

29/05/2009 @ 07:52 |  The OM3RKP contest crew got an awrd from the CQ WPX contest. We took 3rd place in Slovakia.
The new electronic certificate is similar to the paper one. Unfortunately, it is too expensive to mail one to everyone, so now are all certificates available on the CQ WPX contest page for download. You can print out your certificate on your own color printer.
Simply go to the on-line searchable score database http://www.cqwpx.com/score_db.htm and search for your score. Then click on the [cert] link to generate the pdf file. Your browser may pop-up a security warning, which you will need to accept, before the file will download to your computer.
All electronic certificates include the operator list, category, score, and country ranking. An additional ranking is included for scores in the world top 50 for the entrant's category.

OM3RKP 3rd place in WPX Contest

06/01/2009 @ 11:49 | Today I got a new CQ WPX Contest Results. The OM3RKP reach 3rd place in Slovakia!
We have lost 12QSO after the cross-check. That's not bad. Final result is 238.840 points and 410QSO (on 80m "restricted") only! That's -8,9%.
The CQ WPX 2009 is planned as a multi-op two transmitter from the neighbourhood location. Me and other five guys should operate on all bands as OM0A. CU in contest!

02/04/2008 @ 18:57 | OM3RKP has reached in their first time ever entry in the CQ WPX Contest 422 contacts on 80m band only (band restricted 3600 - 3770 kHz).
There is 0.26 million points.

CQ WW WPX Contest

25/03/2008 @ 18:45 | OM3RKP gang will be on the Air again... first time ever on HF! We will be active during the CQ WW WPX Contest on 29th - 30th March.
Operating only on 80m band (restricted up to 3770kHz) with a Yaesu FT-1000MP with an Inrad filter pushing 100W into the Diamond W-8010 antenna.
Operators will be Viliam OM0AAO, Jano OM0AAJ, Gabo OM0AAG and Miso OM0AAB. Good luck!
